With these new looking guys it's very much fun to play and also with the new moves for max and the good looking outfits of mona and max.

The new bullettime which makes you faster then your enemies
and the blood which you now see in slowmotion coming out of the bodies of your fows, is an absolute great game experience.

The two new levels will keep you very busy, especially the greater level, called: rampage, this with great sound effects and astonishing scares its really great.

If you think this mod is very easy your wrong, because in the beginning it looks easy but later on it gets tougher. But don't let that undo you from playing this mod.

ATTENTION
I have looked for errors,but found just one, and that's a small one. You can do anything, except DON'T USE THE SNIPER IN FAST BULLETTIME MODE.

Description So let's go,

here you have what is left from the TMF Modification for Max Payne 2. It's not that much but that's how it goes.
When we began we were all motivated and the further it went we became more motivated. But I think right in that time I, CSMaster2000 (some of you - mainly people from english forums - know me as bloodymax), made the biggest mistake: I mapped and mapped and mapped and didn't cared enough on other aspects!

I don't want to blame anybody - but I will care a lot more about the people who will work with me in the future!

But that was just a introduction and maybe some modders will take the sentences above as some kind of advice.

With this Mod you got a experiment! I never mapped that much before TMF. But TMF (formally "Tacical Mod") became a part of my gaming life! The Level you are going to play is not like the normal Max Payne 2 Levels. On the one hand it is not that detailed as other Max Payne 2 Maps and on the other hand it is a little bit non-linear. Play it like you want but I doubt that you have seen everything after one run through the level! Sometimes I play that level and I am reminded of the first Max Payne 2 days (btw: I own Max Payne 1 - a rarity here in Germany *proudbe*)

TMF is invidious and back-stabbing (hmm reminds me of BB in Max Payne 1 ) - you got less ammonition as in Max Payne 2 and you are alone at all! There are 3 Hostages in the level - you can rescue them or you don't - it is your decision! But if one hostage is killed in action the game is over! The level is very hard scripted and belive me it took me a lot time to invent all those cinematics and so on!

But here are the features of TMF:

Known bugs:
- In a cinematic it tells you that you have to rescue a hostage but you already have - sorry for that

Description Installing & Running
--------------------

Copy both the sketchbook_sam.mp2m and intro folder to your Max Payne 2
folder. Run the game and select sketchbook_sam from the mods list and
hit play. Note! If you have a data folder in your MP2 folder, rename
it to something else, otherwise the mod won't propably work.


Gameplay
--------

Your goal is to reach the end of the level, the
"vortex warper", that warps you to the next level/
worldmap. You will encounter numerous villains.
Majority of them can be defeated by simply jumping
on them (Space bar + W or S). Some cannot be killed
and only harm you if you try jumping on em, so be
careful.

There are 3 pickups in the mod. First is the syringe
that replenishes your health. The second one is the
piller that makes you immortal for a short time.
Finally the third one is a NES cartridge. Collect them
all (total 4) and you unlock a bonus exit vortex in the
last level, below the real vortex...

Controls are simple. Use W to go forward, S to go backwards.
Use mouse to turn around and space to jump. You can also
try pressing the right mousebutton while pressing W, to
perform a forward dodge...

Known Bugs
----------

Shouldn't be much, but sometimes the death cam goes all nuts
zooming the player character's face. Propably caused by the
level design in some parts, and the camera gets "jammed".

Kung-Fu Tutorial - Practice moves and fight enemies in this dojo map.
Time Attack - Punch the bags in time to advance to the next levels...
Level Selector - Play any Max Payne 2 level with Kung-Fu. Developer mode is required
          to equip Kung-Fu. Start MaxPayne2.exe with the parameter -developer
          "MaxPayne2.exe -developer". Ingame toggle console by pressing the
          button left from "1". Type "getkungfu" or "coder".

How to perform the moves?
-------------------------

There are 2 "move sets". First set is executed by being still and tapping a direction
while also pressing the shootdodge button. The other set is executed by being in move,
tapping a direction while pressing shootdodge button. Moves:

STILL:

up = forward kick combo
upright = roundhouse
upleft = roundhouse2
right = legsweep
down = med. kick + high kick combo
left = cartwheel

IN MOVE:

up = flykick/jumpkick
upright = butterfly kick
upleft = aerial roundhouse
left = cartwheel
down = backflip
downleft = backflip to left
downright = backflip to right


If you fall a certain height you will pound the ground with a powerfist.

The Story:

Preface

Max and Mona were partners in the NYPD. One night, Max and Mona were
involved in a gunfight and Mona was shot in the head, but she survived.
After being released from the hospital, she went AWOL.

Present Day

On a routine check of an abandoned warehouse, Max hears gunshots and
goes to investigate. During his investigation, Mona shows up. The two
pursue the cleaners until she is framed during the Assault on Skyview
Towers. Now Max must not only eliminate the cleaners and the mafia
thugs, but he must also help Mona avoid the police.

Description Green - Green Vision when in BT. Normal BT Speed. Able to take more damage. Can fall from 40 meters w/o being harmed. If you like the speed of usual BT, and the added health, Green's for you.

Blue - Blue Vision when it BT. Once in BT, you move at a very slow pace. When in Exceled BT, you go at the ususal running speed while enemies are going slow. Blue can not take as much damage as green, but if you like slower bt, and more concentration time, he's the one to go with.

Description Description:

This is my final mod that I will be releasing to the Max Payne community, I feel it does what it's the best of the Excessive Blood mods.. as such all other versions have been removed.

This takes Cinema 2.0 (beta) and reworks into into a VERY bloody experience. In Version 1, 2 and 3 of the Excessive Blood mod have been downloaded over 30000 times!! Thanks for the support guys, hopefully this final version of the mod will be just as popular.

This mod is very processor intensive, so you need a pretty fast machine to run it if you want heaps of blood. You will also find that the blood splats won't appear on walls after awhile, there's nothing I can do about that as that's a limit of the Max engine.

Features

- Blood system and in game music taken from Cinema 2.0.
- Custom Particle Effects for Bullet Hit.
- Blood now splats on all surfaces.
- New custom blood decals
- Levels now support lots more decals, so you can pretty much make the whole level covered with blood if you wanted to Up to a point. Previous trials of this mod came up with an error due to Direct X not being able to support it all, you can now have heaps of blood without the crash
- Bullet Time RAGE!! (Blur, Warp, Color Overlay, Fog and slight changes all made when you enter bullet time)
- Custom Menu music loop. (Song used: Battle Without Honor Or Humanity - Kill Bill)
- Code based off Cinema 1.6 (see cinema.txt included for full features list).


How to Install

Extract the zip file into your Max Payne 2 directory then select ebcinema from the game launcher on startup.
