Some of you may know Star Fox as a space combat game similar to that of the old Star Wars games. However, this takes a whole new twist on the franchise.
Exploiting the flexible possibilities of Max Payne 2, Paths of Fate allows dog fights in space, landmaster tanks, driving a specialised motorcycle (dubbed the Star Bike) and of course, Max Payne styled run and gun. And last but not least, Kung Fu.
You can play as Fox, Falco, Krystal and many other characters from the Star Fox universe as well as some new ones created specifically for this mod.
Fox is hired to find a disk, which was stolen by a gang of deadly mercenaries and criminals called the Celtic Demons. This gang, lead by Jack Thorn, seeks to destroy Corneria. There are more factions than just Star Fox and the Celtic Demons. Star Wolf, the Cornerian Army and a wanted criminal, Cypher Marsh are after the disk, too. As a member of Star Fox, it's your duty to ensure you get the disk from the Celtic Demons and keep it from falling into the wrong hands.
We hope that fans of Star Fox or at least players of Max Payne 2 will consider playing this mod, when it's finished.
This is my first time doing this, so if I'm not very informative then sorry.
Anyway, the story is still being worked on and will be in the same format as the standard Max Payne levels such as Acts and Chapters.
